Epworth Corydalis was inspired by the wild plant 'Corydalis Lutea' that grows at the foot of the drystone walls around the footpaths and lanes of my village. As a small but intricate pattern, it can sit in support of bigger prints, or in the bolder colourways it can take centre stage.
This design is a single colour fabric printed digitally in the UK, from scans of original hand printed designs, carved into lino by Susie Hetherington.
Epworth Corydalis is available in two colourways; Sage, on natural linen, and Ruby on bleached linen. Our base cloth is a linen union from Scotland; (51% linen /49% cotton).
